Foot Reflexology Diploma and Practitioner Certification

Course information and Registration

Course Information

The HCP Reflexology Institute Reflexology Diploma Program exceeds the widely accepted training requirements for certification as a skilled practitioner in Foot Reflexology. We provide an enhanced course to better prepare our students with a higher level of self assurance and competency. These abilities will prove essential in the art of providing effective Reflexology treatments and for stimulating self confidence for starting and expanding your own Reflexology practice.

Our course is designed and based on a proven combination of learning techniques that offers considerable flexibility. The course is comprised of:

  • 60 comprehensive hours of in-class study and practical instruction -- 30 hours home study workbook -- a 2 hour closed book written examination -- 100 hours of self-regulated Clinical Practice or 60 case studies (with phone in support) -- a 2 hour review prior to a practical exam and a 1 hour practical examination. Upon successful completion of the examination, you are eligible for membership in the Reflexology Association of British Columbia and the Reflexology Association of Canada.

The 60 hour in-class studies segment includes hands-on instruction and a more than basic study of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, Methodology, Foot and Client Assessment, Business practices and guidelines and a solid look at the Code of Ethics and Conduct for the Reflexologist. The home study workbook to be completed prior to the conclusion of the in-class segment. The 2 hour written examination follows the in-class study/instruction and is based on the HCP Reflexology Institute's training manual, but some questions may only be associated with other literature received in class. The passing grade is 80%.

Clinical practice involves the completion of 100 hours of self-regulated clinical practice or 60 case studies that must be completed within a 12 month period from the start date of the course. Clinical experience is required for the development of technique and to achieve a level of competency. This segment must be successfully completed prior to participating in the final practical examination that involves the application of a complete reflexology session on the feet in the presence of an instructor/examiner and an observer. The passing grade is 85%.

Over 98% of our students successfully graduate by completing all segments of our foot Reflexology Course. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge and to teach you to train your hands to precisely know where the reflexes within the feet lie and what they represent, so you become an effective, confident and professional Reflexology Practitioner.
